#1 Country Song: Frankie Ballard- Sunshine & Whiskey
The 31 year old from Battle Creek, Michigan scored his second ever #1 hit on the country charts after a summer full of scaling scaffoldings at live shows! It's been only since early 2014 where Frankie scored his 1st #1 with Helluva Life. He's definitely come a long way in such a short time, winning Kenny Chesney's Big Star competition in 2008...and the rest has become history. The closest Mr. Ballard will be to Central Minnesota soon is a December 19th show in Milwaukee.

#1 Country Album: Jason Aldean- Old Boots, New Dirt
Georgia Boy Jason is burnin' it down from the top of the country album charts for the second week in the last month! Recently removed from Spotify, the 15-track album is Aldean's 6th studio album to date and has sold over half a million copies so far. Jason has announced a joint headlining concert in The Cities on July 18th at Target Field.

#1 Movie in America: Dumb and Dumber To
The much anticipated comedy sequel 20 years in the making had a decent box office showing- with over $13 million earned over this past weekend. Jim Carey and Jeff Daniel's mindless movie beat out Disney Pixar's Big Hero 6 for the top spot. Rated a 7.1 out of a possible 10 by IMDb but only getting a 25% fresh rating by Rotten Tomatoes, it seems like most viewers flocked to theatres in anticipation, but the second verse wasn't quite the same as the 1st.

#1 Book: The Burning Room by Michael Connelly
Released just over two weeks ago by Little, Brown and Company Publishing, this is the 27th novel by the famous crime author. #1 on New York Times Best-Seller List for print & e-book fiction combined in it's first week on the list, it follows famous fictional detective Harry Bosch investigating two long unsolved cases. Connelly also wrote Blood Work and The Lincoln Lawyer, both adapted into successful motion pictures.

#1 TV Show: Sunday Night Football on NBC Accoring to zap2it.com and yet again for another week, the National Football League proves itself king of the airwaves with the most television viewers this past week on Sunday night. Coming in 2nd & 3rd place was CBS's military crime drama NCIS and the nerdy sitcom The Big Bang Theory.
