Scotty McCreery and the Band Perry will help announce the 2013 ACM Awards nominees on Feb. 13 with a little help from modern technology.

The rising country artists, along with Little Big Town and 'American Idol' host and media mogul Ryan Seacrest, will read the shortlist of nominees via videos posted in real time that will be serviced to media and fans simultaneously. '2 Broke Girls' actress Beth Behrs and 'Entertainment Tonight' co-hosts Nancy O'Dell and Rob Marciano will also be on-hand for the presentation.

One lucky fan, chosen by video submission, will be given the honor of announcing the Entertainer of the Year category, which is purely fan-voted. Interested individuals are encouraged to visit the ACM's official YouTube page to learn how to submit their video.

Blake Shelton has signed on to return to host the 2013 ceremony, enlisting Luke Bryan as co-host for the annual event following the news that Reba McEntire has retired from her long-running post as the show's emcee.

“I kind of feel like the ACMs really knew what they were doing when they chose someone like me,” Bryan says in a hilarious clip, acknowledging his coveted new position. “Someone well-spoken, from the south, someone that’s maintained their country roots.”

Bryan goes on assuring he will be capable to “pick Blake up … keep the show rolling for when it may be slipping away from him!” in a clear tongue-and-check disposition.

The 2013 ACMs nominees will be announced on Feb. 13 at 6:30AM PST. Check back to Taste of Country for a full list following the news.

The 48th annual red carpet event will broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 7 at 8PM ET/delayed PT on CBS.
