98 Country August Veteran Of The Month: Army Specialist Erica Hubred

We are saluting our August Veteran of the Month Army Specialist Erica Hubred.  She fought for our freedom. We are thankful and we honor and remember her.

Erica was nominated by her daughter, Sara, who had this to say about her mom:

I am nominating my mother for veteran of the month because she loved being in the Army. She was fantastic at it. Erica was in Desert Storm over in the Middle East.

She passed away due to complications caused by chemicals that were used overseas.

She fought for our country with such pride that she instilled it into the hearts of her children. She is one of the bravest women I have ever met and an amazing mother.

She is currently placed in the Camp Ripley Memorial Cemetery at Fort Ripley.

 

Erica, thank you so very much for serving our country and making the ultimate sacrifice to defend it.
