This song is co-written by Walker and M. Jason Green.  Recorded by Clay Walker it reached the top of the Billboard Country Chart from the album of the same name.

George Strait – “One Night at a Time”

 

 

“One Night at a Time” is written by Roger Cook, Eddie Kilgallon and Earl Lee.  It was released in March 1997 from the album “Carrying Your Love With Me.”  The song reached the top of Billboard Hot Country Chart.

I’m not yours and baby you’re not mine we’ve got something and it sure is fine let’s take our love one night at a time.

 


 

Alan Jackson – “There Goes”

 

 

“There Goes” is a song written and recorded by Alan Jackson.  It was released in 1997 from the album ‘Everything I Love.’  The song went to the top of the Billboard Hot Country Chart.  The song is about a guy being seduced by a woman he was trying to play hard to get with but it’s to no avail when she gets near him and whispers his name.

There you were standin' in the shadows, well I just looked where I don’t see, I’m still pretend I don’t need you.

 


 

Garth Brooks – “Longneck Bottle”

 

 

“Longneck Bottle” was written by Steve Wariner and Rick Carnes and recorded by Garth Brooks.  It was released in November of 1997 from the album “Sevens.”  Wariner also plays acoustic guitar and sings background vocals.

Longneck bottle let go of my hand, hey jukebox don’t start playin that song again.

 


 

Reba McEntire – “How Was I to Know”

 

 

This song is written by Stephony Smith, Cathy Majeski and Sonny Russ recorded by Reba McEntire.  It became a number one hit from the album “What If It’s You.”

My world revolved around you, every word was a promise I was hangin' on, swept up inside a whirwind.
