Enhance Fitness Classes Thursday, March 18, 2010
Come to the Enhance Fitness Classes every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 to 10am at Salem Lutheran Church. This is a group exercise class that is meant to help build strength, flexibility, mental sharpness, endurance, coordination and also helps reduce the risk of falling. Men's Weekly Reading and Reflection Group Thursday, March 18, 2010
There will be a weekly men’s reading and reflection meeting every Thursday from noon to 1pm at the Benedictine Learning Center across from Cathedral High School. Lunch is available beforehand starting at 11:45. There is a suggested offering of $10 to cover the cost of lunch, time and materials.

Teens ages 12-18 are invited to the St. Cloud Public Library for a Cartoon Art Workshop on Saturday, March 20, 2:15 to 4:45 pm. If you have ever wanted to learn how to draw your own cartoon character, join in this workshop and learn what it takes be an illustrator and author of your own book. The workshop will include character and story outline development, comic drawing techniques, and layout options, as well as comic book history and artists. It will be useful if students bring a short story to work with and/or any existing artwork they may want to use. Basic materials will be provided. The workshop will be presented by Shayann Hoffer. She works with youth in the areas of drawing, painting, cartooning, still-clip animation and sculpture. The attendance limit is 20 and preregistration is required.
