If you are like me, you want the latest technology but don't have the funds to support your craving. For some time now I have gone back and forth with my bank account to find the money to purchase an Apple iPad. Sadly, I have not been able to come up with the funds. Now there may be hope in getting a tablet that will work as well as the iPad without the sticker shock.

Amazon.com has introduced a new product to the market called the Kindle Fire. It hits stores in November and from this video, it looks like it will truly give Apple a run for their money. Starting at just $199, you can surf the web, watch movies, listen to music, play games and check email all from the device that is smaller than the iPad.

I love my iPod Touch for its portability, but find that it is too small sometimes when I am trying to surf the web. I have looked at the iPad and felt that it was just a little too big. The Kindle Fire is just 7 inches wide and means you can actually wrap your hand around it.

Since it is available November 15, maybe Santa will have enough time to get one under the tree for me this year!
