A’s Top Twins In Thursday Night Marathon
The Oakland A’s scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to earn an 8-6 win over the Twins in a late night marathon Thursday. The game lasted three hours and 41 minutes.
Chris Parmelee led the Minnesota offense with three hits, with Josmil Pinto and Oswaldo Arcia each notching a pair of hits in the game.
The Twins are 65-87 on the season with ten games remaining on the 2013 schedule.
