Two players on the St. Cloud area Adaptive Floor Hockey team have been picked as top players in the state. Apollo and Tech freshmen Matt Neuman and Brian Jones both made the All-Tournament Team at state for adaptive floor hockey.
JL Beers in Downtown St. Cloud to Open March 30th
The wait is over for JL beers in downtown St. Cloud. The restaurant is in the former Landmark Tavern building at 801 West St. Germain Street. The bought the building last February.
Friends of Clark Field Hope Varsity Sports Will Return to Site
With the news that District 742 would maintain Clark Field last week, the Friends of Clark Field group is now exploring options to restore the field for varsity sports. The original proposal to build a $26 million early childhood education, community education, media services and district administration facility on the site has been reconsidered by the district.
St. Joseph Woman Attacked by Two Dogs, Severely Hurt
A St. Joseph woman was severely hurt when she was attacked by two dogs on Monday afternoon. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 61-year-old Julie Lingl of St. Joseph was walking her small dog on the shoulder of the road, past a home.
