First Case of Zika Virus Confirmed in Minnesota
The first case of Zika virus has been confirmed in Minnesota for this year. The Minnesota Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed a case of the virus in an Anoka County woman in her 60s.

Authorities are looking for a level three predatory offender who is no longer complying with the conditions of his release from jail. Douglas Peterson was released on November 5th, 2014, to intensive supervised release by Hennepin County.
