December 18, 2012 The St. Cloud Rox announced their 2013 schedule Monday night. The Rox will open at the Waterloo Bucks on May 29 before hosting Thunder Bay in their home opener on May 31. The Northwoods League in 2013 will play 2 inter-division series.

December 18, 2012 The Twins Winter Caravan will be coming to St. Cloud Tuesday January 15 at Rivers Edge Convention Center. Current Twins players relief pitchers Brian Duensing and Glen Perkins will be coming to St. Cloud for the event along with assistant coach Joe Vavra, Assistant General Manager Rob Antony and Kris Atteberry from the Twins Radio Network.

Twins to Sign Pitcher, Mike Pelfrey
December 17, 2012 The Twins have agreed to sign right-handed starting pitcher Mike Pelfrey to a 1-year $4 Million contract with a possibility to earn another $1.5 Million in incentives. Pelfrey is coming off Tommy John surgery and is expected to be ready to return during spring training.

Vikings Beat Bears 21-14
December 10, 2012 The Vikings won 21-14 at home against the Chicago Bears Sunday. Minnesota went out to a 14-0 lead and led 14-7 at halftime. The Vikings got a 56-yard interception return touchdown from Harrison Smith in the 2nd half that helped secure the win.

Twins Trade Revere to Phillies for Pair of Pitchers
December 6, 2012 The Twins traded centerfielder Ben Revere to the Philadelphia Philllies to righthanded starting pitchers. The two pitchers are Vance Worley and prospect Trevor May. Worley is a 6'2 230 pound 25-year old who's pitched parts of 3 seasons in the major leagues for the Phillies.

Vikings’ Harvin Placed On IR; Out for the Year
December 6, 2012 Viking receiver Percy Harvin is out for the season after being placed on injured reserve with a severely sprained ankle. It was reported earlier this week that Harvin has a torn ligament in his left ankle. Harvin hurt the ankle when the Vikings lost at Seattle on November 4.

December 3, 2012 The 14th ranked St. Cloud State men's hockey team won 4-3 in overtime Friday night before losing 3-1 Saturday night at Alaska-Anchorage over the weekend. The Huskies are 8-6-0 overall on the season and will play at home for 10 straight games including hosting #13 Nebraska-Omaha Friday and Saturday nights.
