Blake Shelton has done an incredible job as a coach on the popular singing competition show 'The Voice', and he himself really enjoys the gig. So why is he so unhappy with the show right now?

'The Voice' has only been on the air for two seasons but it definitely ranks in the fan favorite category when it comes to reality competition shows, and I can certainly understand why. The producers did a great job of making their show different from all the others that conquer the airwaves at any given time of the year. 'The Voice' is a fresh take on a concept that's been around for decades. But, too much of a good thing can be fatal, and though it seems the producers don't agree, Blake does.

Instead of running the show one season per year, NBC thought it would be a good idea to run two seasons per year. Which is what has Blake and his fellow coaches a little upset - double the seasons - double the work.

Blake is concerned that he will be so busy taping the show throughout the year that he won't have time to tour, and to him, that's unacceptable. Shelton said "I love doing it...But they have to work with me so I can also tour." Blake went on to say that "...two seasons a year is too much..." and that he and his fellow coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, and Adam Levine "...cannot remain viable artists if we're taping back-to-back seasons of the show."

Let's hope Blake can come to an agreement with NBC on this one, because it would be a shame to see him leave the show.
