Boogity, Boogity, Boogity! Dierks Bentley Recuts “Sideways” For NASCAR

Boys and girls, time to start trading some paint!

Dierks Bentley is recording a special version of his hit “Sideways” as the theme song for Fox network’s coverage of the 2011 NASCAR season. The song will be used all season and Dierks will debut the new version live from the Daytona 500 February 20.

Dierks, in addition to recording a new album, is keeping busy with an appearance as a presenter at this weekend’s Grammy Awards Show.  He is nominated for Best Country Album for Up On The Ridge and Best Country Collaboration With Vocals for the CD’s “Bad Angel” featuring Miranda Lambert and Jamey Johnson, and “Pride (In the Name Of Love),” which features Del McCoury and Punch Brothers. The Grammy Awards air Sunday at 7pm.
