With the 2014 CMA Awards just around the corner, six-time hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are feeling nostalgic.

"Can you believe this is our seventh year hosting the CMA Awards?" Underwood asks Paisley in a sweet commercial advertising Country Music's Biggest Night.

"Remember how it all started?" Paisley recalls, prompting his blonde co-host to think back on CMA Awards past. The two gaze off into the distance, remembering how it all started. Hilariously, a group of kids appear, seated in a basement as miniature versions of the hosts put on the show.

The CMA Awards curtain is nothing but a couple of old sheets, with the awards show name written along a fishing line in construction paper. A young 'Paisley' wears a big hat, while a tiny blonde girl -- Underwood -- sports one of the singer's signature sparkly dresses.

As 'Underwood' lists the country stars who will be appearing at the event, including Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban and Blake Shelton, their real life yearbook photos pop up onto the screen (Bryan is even missing a tooth!).

"He can't be here, Carrie," Paisley says to his young co-host when she mentions Blake Shelton. "He's grounded!"

Back in her adult body, Underwood assures us that this year, Shelton will, in fact, be in attendance at the awards. Maybe.

"Nope," Paisley says, "He's grounded again."

"Miranda!" Underwood jokes in frustration as the hilariously adorable commercial comes to an end.

Clearly, we're in for a treat at this year's CMAs. Paisley even promises that Underwood's growing baby bump will take the brunt of his well-planned jokes. The 2014 CMA Awards air live starting at 8PM ET on Nov. 5 via ABC.
