In the upcoming zombie apocalypse movie  ‘World War Z,’ Brad Pitt’s character tries to save earth from the brain eaters.  On the set of the film, Pitt played hero in a more modest, but also more signficant way.

Pitt was shooting a scene in Glasgow, Scotland, in which a mass of people flee an onslaught of undead. One of the 700 extras used in the shoot had fallen, and risked being trampled when, according to the Scottish Sun, Pitt swoped in, grabbed her, and helped her to her feet.

“Lots of people hurt themselves,” said an insider about the mayhem surrounding the scene.  ”And Brad came to the rescue of a woman who slipped. I don’t think she could believe it when Brad picked her up.”

Now that word is out on Pitt’s guardian angel act, expect a lot more of ‘World War Z’s’ female extras to “slip.”
