The holiday season is high time for travel, and if you plan to hop a flight with British Airways in the future, they have recently announced some good news for you - they are going to allow you to continue to watch your movie or listen to your music throughout the landing process and even while you make your way to the gate.

Traveling can be a big pain, especially during the holiday season - between high ticket prices, security check points, and long waits, the whole experience can be exhausting and irritating. So even if you aren't hopping on a British Airways flight in the near future, I'm sure you can appreciate hearing something good about the airline business.

Typically when you begin your descent into your destination the flight crew informs you that it is time to turn off all electronic devices. Well not anymore for some British Airways flights. The process of landing and making your way to the gate can really drag on once you are forced to shut off your movie or music, but now that they are allowing you to continue using your electronics, it might actually make traveling just a little more enjoyable.

Let's hope more airlines follow suit. I don't think there is anything worse than sitting near a child screaming for thirty minutes non stop because they couldn't finish watching 'Dora the Explorer' (or whatever)... sounds like a no-brainer: adapt the policy - crisis averted.
