The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Vikings 36-17 Thursday night to drop Minnesota to 5-3 on the season.  Tampa Bay went out to a 20-10 lead at halftime and went up 27-10 on a 64-yard touchdown pass from Josh Freeman to Doug Martin early in the 2nd half.  Martin rolled up 214 yards of total offense and 2 touchdowns and Freeman threw for 262 yards and 3 touchdowns for Tampa Bay.

Adrian Peterson ran for 123 yards including a 64-yard touchdown run and Christian Ponder was 19-35 passing for 251 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception for the Vikings.  Ponder struggled for much of the night.  Percy Harvin led the Vikings with 7 catches for 90 yards and 1 touchdown.  Minnesota committed 3 turnovers compared to 0 turnovers for the Bucs.

The Vikings are 5-3 while Tampa Bay is 3-4.  Minnesota will play at Seattle Sunday November 4 at 3:05, pregame on WJON at 2:00.
