Budweiser & Bud Light Ingredients Revealed

Bowing to consumer pressure, Anheuser-Busch has revealed the ingredients of Budweiser and Bud Light — unveiling closely held secrets on the scale of Coke’s top-secret process, and KFC’s highly guarded recipe. The ingredients themselves are less complicated than what it took to make this happen.

Food blogger Vani Hari (foodbabe.com) started a petition asking the major brewers to open their ingredients to consumers, and quickly collected more than 43,000 signatures. Anheuser-Busch, owned by InBev, responded by revealing the ingredients for Bud & Bud Light:

  • Water
  • Barley Malt
  • Rice
  • Yeast
  • Malt
  • Hops

Aaaaaaaaaand, now I’m thirsty.
