First Jennifer Lopez, then Steven Tyler, now Randy Jackson has decided to vacate the judges table on 'American Idol', but unlike the first two, Randy is still going to be a part of the show.
While it was widely reported that well-coiffed country star Keith Urban had accepted the offer to replace long-running judge Randy Jackson on ‘American Idol,’ new reports have surfaced indicating that the deal is not completed and has not been signed, and is therefore not finalized. But it’s close. Very close.
It looks as though both Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton will be on the NBC payroll soon, with news that ‘The Voice’ network home has bought the rights to Lambert’s yet-to-be-titled detective drama series that will mirror her own childhood. It was previous reported that ABC Family had won the competitive bidding war earlier this year.
