The big news yesterday was the confirmation that Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels did in fact agree to do a sequel to the 1994 comedy 'Dumb and Dumber'. Not only are the original Harry and Loyd back for round 2, but the original directors, brothers Bobby and Peter Farelly, are back as well.
Next Sunday will mark 100 years since the Titanic disappeared into the Atlantic Ocean at 2:20 A.M. April 15th 1912. 'Titanic' first hit theaters in 1997, it was nominated for 14 Oscars and took home 11 of them.
Whitney Houston passed away back in February, and she left behind her final film. Along side Jordin Sparks, Houston helped re-make the classic movie from 1976 'Sparkle'. The trailer for the film debuted yesterday on the 'Today Show', check it out.
I thought Ashton Kutcher was busy enough with his new role on 'Two and a Half Men' and divorcing Demi Moore, but I guess he was looking for something more to add to his plate. It was announced yesterday (April 1) that Ashton has signed on to play the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in an indie biopic. The actor also serenaded the crowd at the ACM Awards last night with a George Strait Tune.
New twists on both fairytales and mythological adventures hit theaters this weekend.
It's no doubt The Hunger Games was a huge debut. Here are my thoughts on it, but please share yours.
If there’s one group of people ripe for pranking, it’s diehard ‘Hunger Games‘ fans. No one understands this better than comedian Justin Tyler as he trolls rabid fans lined up for the movie’s midnight premiere with questions that have intentionally wrong answers. Hilarity (and more than a little superfan frustration) ensues.
Another week with a single movie opening in wide release, but everyone’s so excited about this one that it may have needed the entire weekend to itself.
The Hunger Games comes out on Friday, and some are saying it will bring in the most money of any movie. Ricky loaned me the book a few weeks ago and I just finished it. I thought it was a pretty cool story. If you are wondering what all the hype is about. Check out this trailer!
Miranda Lambert's new song 'Run Daddy Run' has been leaked online. It features the Pistol Annies and will be heard in the highly anticipated blockbuster 'The Hunger Games'. The movie is in theaters March 23rd. As it turns out Miranda wasn't the only country star who had a song leaked this week off the soundtrack either...
Sci-fi, horror or comedy? Take your pick. All three genres have movies opening in wide-release this weekend.
