Packers End Vikings Season 24-10; Ponder Doesn’t Play
The Vikings lost 24-10 Saturday night in the NFC Wildcard playoffs to the Packers in Green Bay. Minnesota trailed 17-3 at halftime and fell behind 24-3 before scoring the final touchdown of the game.

Timberwolves Win at Denver; Love Gets Injured
The Timberwolves bounced back at Denver with a 101-97 Thursday night after losing at Utah Wednesday night. J.J. Barea scored 12 of his 17 points in the 4th quarter and Alexey Shved added 17 points for Minnesota. Luke Ridnour and Andrei Kirilenko each scored 14 points for Minnesota.

Vikings’ Ponder Has Sore Elbow
Viking quarterback Christian Ponder was limited in practice Wednesday due to a sore elbow. He sustained the injury when he hit the helmet of a Packer player on his follow through. He stayed in the game and is expected to play Saturday at Green Bay.

Jazz Rout Timberwolves 106-84
The Timberwolves lose 10-6-84 at Utah to the Jazz Wednesday night. Minnesota struggled shooting the ball again shooting just 34 percent from the field while Utah shot 49 percent.

Vikings Top Packers to Earn Playoff Spot
The Vikings got a 29-yard field from Blair Walsh on the last play of the game to beat the Packers 37-34 Sunday. Minnesota led 20-10 at halftime but saw the Packers tie the game at 27 at 34 before won the game on the Walsh field goal.
