The Vikings lost 24-10 Saturday night in the NFC Wildcard playoffs to the Packers in Green Bay. Minnesota trailed 17-3 at halftime and fell behind 24-3 before scoring the final touchdown of the game.

The Timberwolves bounced back at Denver with a 101-97 Thursday night after losing at Utah Wednesday night. J.J. Barea scored 12 of his 17 points in the 4th quarter and Alexey Shved added 17 points for Minnesota. Luke Ridnour and Andrei Kirilenko each scored 14 points for Minnesota.

Viking quarterback Christian Ponder was limited in practice Wednesday due to a sore elbow. He sustained the injury when he hit the helmet of a Packer player on his follow through. He stayed in the game and is expected to play Saturday at Green Bay.
