Chinese Lettuce Wraps!

You don’t have to love Chinese food to love these lettuce wraps. They are easy to make and healthy too!

Plus they are fun to put together so they are a great way to get the whole family involved.

Ingredients:

1 lb lean ground beef

1/2 of a white onion (chopped)

3 T. soy sauce

3 T. sesame oil

1 T. red wine vinegar

1 head of lettuce

1 red pepper (thinly sliced)

Sugar Snap Peas

Carrots (thinly sliced)

Light ranch dressing

Directions:

Brown hamburger in skillet, add onion about half way through and let them cook together. Once hamburger is almost done drain the fat. Then add soy sauce, sesame oil, and red wine vinegar. Continue to cook over medium heat until most of the liquid is gone.

While that is cooking carefully (this can be tricky) peel away the lettuce one leaf at a time. Rinse them carefully and set on a paper towel to dry.

Set out your sliced red peppers, carrots, sugar snap peas, and ranch dressing so everyone can make their own – like tacos!

When the meat is finished dig in! All you have to do is grab a piece of lettuce (it will look like a little bowl) put in some meat, top with veggies, and drizzle on a little ranch dressing. Roll it up like a burrito and enjoy!
