Could You Spend 501 Days In Space With Your Spouse?

Sounds like fun, right?  Five hundred and one days in an RV-size space capsule with your significant other!  The Inspiration Mars Foundation is seeking to send two people -- potentially a middle-aged married couple -- to space in a capsule that would pass within 100 miles of Mars.

The formal application process hasn't started, but the folks behind the Mars mission are already receiving résumés and  ideas from interested people.

So, who would these folks going into space be, and how would they cope? It's never been tried before, so really, no one knows.

Would you survive 501 days in space with your partner?  I'm up for an adventure just about anytime and to anywhere. Not too sure about this one though.
