The Oak Ridge Boys are a Country and Gospel group that date back to the 1940's as the Oak Ridge quartet.  They became very popular in the 1950's as a Southern Gospel group.  The group changed its name in the early 1960's to "The Oak Ridge Boys." In the mid 1970's they changed their image and concentrated on Country Music.

The Oak Ridge Boys are celebrating their 30th anniversary of "Elvira" released in 1981.  The Oak Ridge Boys will be at the Winstock Country Music Festival Saturday June 11th in Winstead, MN, and the Paramount Theatre downtown St. Cloud, December 15th and 16th with a Christmas Show.

This Sunday May 29th, hear the music of the Legends of Country Music on the 98 Country Spotlight at 11:00 AM.  It's all a part of the 98 Country Classic Show 9 AM to 1 PM.
