Darius Rucker Gets Grand Ole Opry Invitation

Darius Rucker got the surprise of a lifetime last night (October 2nd) when his friend Brad Paisley informed him he would be the next artist to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.

Last night during the show Paisley put on a faux question and answer session with Darius and the crowd to prep the surprise. After a couple random questions such as "Are you still the worst poker player in the world?" Brad asked Darius if he would like to be the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry. Darius was completely surprised and answered "Yes I would."

The official induction will take place on October 16th. Congratulations Darius, you deserve it!
