Don’t Text and Drive or This Might Happen to You [VIDEO]

We've all been told many, many times to not be distracted while we are driving. We've probably told our own kids that, but have you seen what can happen when you take your eyes off the road for just a second? This video is a great wake up call.

This was shot by a State Patrol dash cam. The driving conditions were like what we drive on here in Minnesota most of the year. The State Patrol was cruising along the highway when the driver of the SUV wound up in an accident and drove into oncoming traffic. What happens next is almost unbelievable.

If you are one that puts makeup on while driving, or shaves, or plays the banjo or trumpet while driving. Maybe you are a teen that has too many friends in the car with you or you are changing the channel on the radio. Perhaps you are eating while driving or worse yet, sending a text message or an email - YOU need to watch this video.

Two seconds doesn't seem like a very long time, but when you are driving it can make the difference between being alive or ending up in the morgue.
