Gardening Knowledge for Free is Saturday, September 22nd from 8:15am-11:30am at the Whitney Sr. Center. This event is sponsored by the University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardeners of Stearns County. There is no charge for this workshop, but pre-registration is necessary. When you call, you will need to list the three workshops in which you plan to participate in for the day. Topics include: houseplant care, the basics of composting, designing containers for fall and winter, putting the garden to bed for winter, and garden 911: what to do when things go wrong. Please call early, for registration is limited.
