This last weekend, my mom came up with my nephew and nieces, and we had some fun. We even broke some stuff.

My family came up last Friday night to spend the weekend with Brittany and I, and we had a busy, crazy, fun weekend. Friday night, my nephew, Ethan, and I wasted no time even saying hi. I walked the house and he said, "Uncle Matt, are you ready to play football?"... yes I am. It's amazing what they (kids) remember. The last time they all came up, it was too cold to go outside, so Ethan and I played football in the "Man Cave". That is all he really wanted to do. We played from 7:30 until 11:00... nothing broke.

Saturday, it was SO nice, we headed out to see the 50-foot tall snowman, that was brought to my attention from our sister station's, WJON, Dan DeBaun. This snowman is HUGE. I know, it's a 50-foot tall snowman, but you don't really appreciate how big it is until you see it and walk around it.

The place was packed with family's coming out to enjoy the gigantic snowman known as "Granddaddy".

After the big snowman, we opted for lunch and games at Space Aliens before coming back home and heading into the basement or, "man cave" for more football. This time we weren't so lucky. Ethan was gave me his best "juke" move to score a touchdown and he juked right into the table and knocked down a scentsy pot... it's a Minnesota Golden Gophers scentsy pot, so yes, it was allowed in the "man cave". It was a Gophers scentsy pot, I should say, cause Ethan took that bad boy right out! Then he instantly was sad thought he was in trouble, while I was rolling around laughing. He didn't realize it wasn't a huge deal... I mean, it's not like he was told not to play football in the house, I was playing with him.

So, to make him feel better, I told him he was a world record holder. He now holds the world record for the first person to break anything in our house and nobody can ever take away his record. I even had him sign the scentsy pot and put on display, just to make him feel better.
