Recently Blake Shelton did an interview for Redbook magazine, find out what he had to say when asked about his marriage to Miranda Lambert.

Being married is one thing, but having a successful marriage is another. When Blake was asked what the key is to his successful marriage, he replied: "I think you've got to be confident and a bit of a pushover. Obviously, you've got to be a loyal person. I'm never going to listen to someone trash my wife. I think you have to be willing to take a bullet for somebody if you're going to stand up there, take your vows, and be married to them for the rest of your life."

Well said Blake! I totally agree, if you aren't willing to put your significant other first in your life, your marriage will never last. And by first, I mean before everyone else in your life - your parents, siblings, friends...you always need to take your significant others side, you always have to have their back, you need to stand up for each other always. Anyone  who thinks otherwise shouldn't even be dating, because they have a thing or two to learn before they will be mature enough for a relationship. Ok, that's enough about what I think...let's get back to Blake Shelton.

Blake is a busy man, and he isn't going to slow down anytime soon. He will be returning as a mentor on 'The Voice' which premieres February 5th on NBC, and it was just announced he will again join Reba McEntire to host the 2012 ACM awards which will air live from Las Vegas on April 1st. Looking forward to seeing lots of Blake in 2012!
