There was one city in the USA who got a really big bang for the 4th of July. San Diego's Big Bay Boom Spectacular was supposed to be 18 minutes long, it came up a little short.

The residents had gathered for what promised to be an excellent fireworks show, but when it came time to launch, the computer running the show fired off every firework in the line at the same time. So instead of getting to enjoy nearly 20 minutes of booms, San Diego got about 30 seconds!

I must say though, judging by this video, it really would have been a spectacular display. Maybe next year they can get them to fire correctly!
