The Minnesota Vikings' first-ever draft pick in 1961, running back Tommy Mason from Tulane University, has passed away. Mason played six years for the Vikes, making the Pro Bowl three times. To this date, Mason is still #8 on The Vikings' all-time rushing chart.

After leaving Minnesota, Mason played five more years with the Los Angeles Rams and the Washington Redskins. Tommy Mason was 75.

Skol Tommy.
