Five Things I’m Thankful For At Work (Pete Edition)

I guess Katie was all caught up in the Thanksgiving spirit this morning, when she did a  ‘Five Things I’m Thankful For At Work.’ post. I gotta admit we’re pretty fortunate to do what we do. I decided to do my own top-5 list, and Katie and I only had one item in common. Here are my five.

P. Hanson/TSM

We’ll start with the one that Katie and I agree on; Co-workers. We work in a building full of great people. I’ve always said that I could do anything for a living as long as I worked with the right people. Well, I’m happy to say, I work with the best people.

Next on my list is the Audience & Community. This job allows a person to meet a lot more people than the average bear, and to connect with the community in special ways. I love that. I’ve only been in St. Cloud since June; but I’ve already fallen in love with the place.

Coming in at number three on my ‘Five Things I’m Thankful For At Work’ list is; Unlimited Free Coffee. Hey, don’t judge. I get up a 3:00, and get to the studios at 4:30. Coffee is important. (Free, hot coffee!)

Next up on my list is; Cool Tools & Toys to use to express your craziness and creativity. This company has invested to make sure we have access to the latest tools & technology to interact with you online & on-air. (And that’s just fun.)

And last but not least on my short list of things I love about my job; lots of Free Samples & Stuff. Seriously, this job has it’s perks. Music, concerts, and just about anything else you can imagine. Freebies are good.

What are you thankful for?
