The #23-ranked Minnesota Gopher men's basketball team won their second game in a row Sunday by defeating Iowa 62-59 at Williams Arena.

The game was a nail-biter from beginning to end, with the Gophers holding the lead 29-28 at the half. Minnesota had the ball with under 13.6 seconds left in the game when Austin Hollins hit a three pointer in stride to give the Gophers the 60-59 lead and eventual victory.

The Gophers (17-5, 5-4) were led by guard Andre Hollins with 15 points, eight assists and six rebounds. Austin Hollins had 17 points on 5-12 shooting.

Iowa (14-8, 3-6) was led by Mike Gesell with 11 points on 4-11 shooting.
