The Twins opener at Target Field is Monday, April 7th. The forecast says it will be cloudy and 50 in Minneapolis that day. But there's much to be done before we get there.

Twins head groundskeeper, Larry DiVito says there are three phases that go into preparing the field for opening day. First is snow removal. That part is done, so far. The second phase is getting the grass ready. The third phase is details. You can learn more about what it takes to prepare the field on the Minnesota Twins website.

But no matter what the weather, Pete, Jim and I will be at opening day on Monday. Listen this week for your chance to win tickets. We hope to see you there!
