The #21 SCSU Huskies (8-1) clobbered Bemidji State (2-7) 45-6 this afternoon in Bemidji. During the game, SCSU quarterback Phillip Klaphake became the all-time leading Husky passer. The Minnesota Gophers also collected a road win today, while Saint John's lost at Gustavus.

In St. Peter, the Gusties picked up their first win over the Johnnies since 1997. Saint John's led for most of the game, before Gustavus tied things up 17-17 in the fourth quarter, and earned the win with a 37-yard field goal in the second overtime.

The Gophers improved to 7-2 overall and 3-2 in the Big Ten with a 42-39 win this afternoon at Indiana (3-5, 1-3). Minnesota will be looking for their third straight conference win next Saturday when Penn State visits TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
