The saying is true. "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach".

Wedding planning, wedding planning, wedding planning... it has consumed my life. Last night was, however, was a fantastic part of the planning. Brittany and went to taste test some dishes and decide what we would be serving to our 250-guests.

I wish everyday there was a taste test.

Those delicious salads at the top of the page are a (left-to-right) Caesar Salad, House salad (with your choice of ranch, french or whatever dressing) and a Chef Specialty Salad that I don't remember the name of, but was dressed in a vinaigrette. They were all tasty, but our guests will be munching on a Caesar Salad while waiting for their entrees.

The entrees... my eyes light up like a five-year-old on Christmas day.

Brittany and I sampled four different options and had to choose two dishes so our guests would have an option. As you can imagine by looking at the picture below, they were all so TASTY! It was a tough decision cause we tried to consider everybody, but with that many people... you really can't. So, we each picked our favorite of the four meals and that's how we decided what to serve to everybody. We figured, it's our wedding, we're going to eat what we want to eat.

So the meal will consist of Caesar Salad for all and then their choice of either Wild Mushroom Chicken Penne (my choice) which has little kick to it or Brittany's choice of the Stuffed Pork Chop (stuffed with stuffing) with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. Both are so good that after we left I started thinking, "maybe I want the stuffed pork chop instead"... either way, it's going to be good!

See how hard the choices were. Starting at the top of the circle and going clock wise... Chicken Parmesan, Wild Mushroom Chicken Penne (mmmm... my choice), stuffed pork chop (Brittany's choice) and another kind of chicken served with a sauce and I can't remember the name of either. That was our least favorite.
