Iguanas Are People Too

When Pete and I were in Mexico last week for Boots In The Sand, something I enjoyed, besides mango margaritas, was getting to know the many beautiful iguanas who lived at the resort. This is Carlos.

Yes, I named them. Everyone deserves a name. In fact, I got a couple of other folks who were admiring them to give them names too!

And since I decided that I couldn't put all the wonderful people I met in my suitcase, and I've had enough mango margaritas to last a few months, the one thing I brought home from Mexico was Pablo. He is beautiful and now has a prominent spot on my desk at work.

He will guard my office to make sure only nice people are allowed to come in :)
