I’m A Big Baby When It Comes To Going To The Dentist

I went to the dentist yesterday and I realized I'm a really big baby when it comes to dental work.

My dentist is really cool, I like him but I hate (yes, hate) going there.  Here's why -- contrary to what most people believe, I have a small mouth.  So when I have to lay there for what seems like an eternity with my mouth wide open, getting all these gizmos and gadgets shoved in there, it's just not a pleasant experience for me.

I don't like the sound of metal on my teeth and I would say I have a pretty high tolerance for pain but not at the dentist.  Oh, and I have a new found respect for my grandmother, who would get cavities filled with no novacane.  It hadn't fully set in and I can honestly say I've never felt anything like that before.
