We've been seeing a rash of animals in weird places this spring. Ducks on the roof of a house, a groundhog in a tree. And, now, a baby chick on my girl's shoulder.

We got a dozen Spring chicks about a month ago and my girl has made it her duty to "take care of them". And when I say "take care of them" yes, I am a little worried that she may take care of them in the mob sense. Not intentionally, of course, she just wants to take them everywhere she goes.

She likes them to ride on her shoulder and thinks that a Spring chick would love to join her for a bubble bath. We do have one (VERY!) firm rule when it comes to the chickens though.

NO CHICKENS IN THE HOUSE - EVER!

What about you? Seen any animals in an unexpected place?
