Today is National Tapioca Pudding Day. Here's what I think about that.

I love tapioca pudding. It's delicious. My grandma used to make it from scratch and put cinnamon in it. Now I have to eat it in the snack packs. While that's fine, it's just now the same. My stomach is growling.

Tapioca actually originated from South America, but it's now cultivated all over the world. It can be found in many different forms including meal, flakes or pearls, which are what we use for pudding.

No one exactly knows who invented National Tapioca Pudding Day, but I think in honor of such a special day, I may have to go out and buy a snack pack.
