One of the hottest acts in country music right now is Jason Aldean. He released My Kinda Party in November of 2010 and since then has had the success of two number one hits from that album - My Kinda Party and Dirt Road Anthem.

Now Jason has released the first track from the album to country radio - Tattoos On This Town. Another song that hits most of us between the eyes and sparks memories from our younger days. Jason seems to have a natural knack for doing that with most of his songs. If you really digest the lyrics, you will find they are quite simple, but elegantly strung together.

These lyrics bring out different memories in different people. For those of us that did grow up in rural America, we are hit head on with a flood of memories when most of Aldean's songs come on the radio. The great thing about Jason's songs is that our neighbors that grew up in urban areas can still relate to his songs on some level.

Jason's latest release is no different. The first time I listened to this song, the memories of when I was 16 came flooding into my mind. Hanging out in the small town, running around with friends, doing things our parents wouldn't have been proud of and generally being dumb teenagers. Even though I probably shouldn't have done those things, they still bring a smile to my face today because they were great times!
