Sugarland frontwoman Jennifer Nettles, announced via Twitter on Monday (Nov. 5) that her solo album finally has a release date. The album, 'That Girl,' will be Nettles' first without her Sugarland bandmate Kristian Bush and is set for release on Jan. 14.

The album is named after the first single, which was co-written by Butch Walker. It's available now on iTunes.

"I love what I do with Sugarland," Nettles told CBS Charlotte's The New 103.7 (quote via 99.5 WYCD). “But I’ve been wanting to do this project for a long time and [I] have been writing for it for three years. There’s the sound we have in Sugarland, but there was something I wanted to do that was a different sound.”

Nettles released the album's title track in August and explained to Radio.com that the song is the story of a woman who was tricked by the man she was dating since he was also seeing someone else. Upon discovering her two-timing man, the woman says "'Oh no, I’m gonna call her and tell her that you’re being that guy, because I don’t want to be that girl with that stigma,'” Nettles explained.
