Johnnie Football Candidates; Mike Grant Appears at Public Forum [AUDIO]

St. John's University held the first of 3 Public Forums for the 3 finalist for the St. John's vacant head football coaching job.  Eden Prairie Head Coach and 1979 St. John's graduate Mike Grant was the first to appear at the Public Forum at St. John's.

Grant talked about his philosophies on coaching starting with recruiting, his handling of players and how education will play a role in the life of a Johnnie Football player...

Grant also told stories about his time both at Eden Prairie and at St. John's as a student/Athlete.

Audience members also asked about how Grant would incorporate John Gagliardi into the program if he was hired.  Grant says Gagliardi and St. John's football are synonymous...

The 2nd of 3 finalist Gary Fasching will appear at a public forum Tuesday at 10:00am December 18 before the 3rd and final finalist Kurt Ramler appears at a public forum Wednesday December 19 at 1:30pm.
