Bandwagon: A particular activity or cause that has suddenly become fashionable or popular. For the people in this picture, myself, and many others lately,  it's Minnesota Wild Hockey.

When my friend Dan sent me this picture, he wrote "The biggest bandwagon fans you'll ever see! T-Shirts from Gordman's. LOL!"  So I had to look up Gordman's.  Turns out it's an "off-price" department store.

I get it. I've done it myself. A team you've barely watched all season is now in the play-offs and you need to look the part, so you head to the cheapest t-shirt store you can find, just to fit in.

You can't name more than two players, but by gosh, you'll be in the stands cheering them on! You've only been to one (high school) hockey game in your life, but you'll stay up late to watch YOUR Minnesota Wild team bring home another win. And by the end of the series, you can talk hockey smack with the best of them. Or at least some of them. Mostly other bandwagon jumpers who know about as much as you do.

Don't ask me the rules, or the name of the guy who just scored a goal. It's enough that I know they use a puck and a stick and they fight just for fun. Come and see me when football starts. I own a REAL Vikings jersey. And not from the discount store.
