Planning a wedding doesn't seem like a huge chore, until you really break things down. We decided on venue, we have our DJ, have narrowed down our invitations, know the colors of the dresses for the bridesmaids and what the guys will be wearing, have photography picked out and have a date to taste food and decide what to serve. What could be left? Oh yeah... A LOT!

I felt like we had a good grasp on things. Then Brittany reminded me, we're not done.

We still have a lot to do to plan this wedding, while also preparing for a baby. Brittany and I have not even started to talk about what music to play throughout the ceremony, first dance, father-daughter dance, mother-son dance... can't we all just do the "Harlem Shake" like the cast of "Duck Dynasty" did below? The correct answer is, no. It was worth a shot though.

Since this will be my first and only marriage I started thinking back to weddings I've been to and couldn't remember one song that was played for the first dance or during the ceremony... nothing. So, I cheated and searched what are the most popular wedding songs. According to Lifestyle9.com, these are the Top 10 wedding songs... we probably won't use one of these.

I thought we had a good handle, then Brittany brought me back down to earth and made me realize, besides trying to decide what songs/music to play during each part of the ceremony and reception... we also realized we have to finish our guest list, send "save the date" cards, I guess there is suppose to be some flowers involved somewhere, center pieces for the tables, what beverages to serve for those who won't be tipping back cold adult beverages. I'm sure there is SO much more, but it's so far over my head, I'm glad Brittany has a clue what's going on.

My vote is still for the "Harlem Shake".
