Robin Roberts recently sat down with a slew of country music stars for an interview special that will air next Tuesday night on ABC. "In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville" is the name of the program that has been strategically placed in the prime time line up the night before the CMA's.

ABC clearly wants to make sure there is plenty of buzz about the CMA's to get the ratings up, the award show airs next Wednesday night (November 9th) on ABC.

The network might be slightly concerned about the ratings, but the live show (which is held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville) had no problem selling out for the third year in a row.

For the interview, Robin sat down with Keith Urban, Sugarland, Faith Hill, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, and Kenny Chesney. ABC has released a clip from the interview with Kenny where Robin asked him whether there are any misconceptions about him in the media, he answered: "it's tough when you, when you go somewhere in my life, and you follow your perception into the room." That's kind of a round-about way to answer the question if you ask me, but I guess I will have to tune in and find out where he is going with that answer.

The interview special airs Tuesday November 8th at 9 PM on ABC.
