As far as spots in heaven go, this might be a good one. And if you believe you can buy your way into heaven, this might be the way to do it.

Ari Mandel, a 31-year-old self-proclaimed "theological atheist," recently tried to sell his spot in heaven on eBay.

The craziest part about Ari's attempt to auction off his place in the afterworld is the fact that bidding almost reached $100,000.

eBay pulled the ad based on the fact that the company simply does not "allow listings that aren't offering anything for sale or those that have intangible items. But when prospective buyers questioned the "amenities" included in Mendel's portion, he told them not to worry, boasting that it's "prime real estate" due to the fact that he's a "vegan and frequent performer of good deeds."

Rest assured, you cannot buy a spot in heaven. But keep doing good things, because you never know what The Big Guy is thinking.
