Minnesota Dairy Queen Worker Does The Right Thing

Dairy Queen

Joey Prusak has worked at the Dairy Queen in Hopkins for several years. Last week one of his regular customers, a man who is visually impaired, dropped a $20 bill. What happened next is just a day in the life of Joey. But we think he’s a pretty great guy. When his customer dropped the $20 bill, a lady standing behind him picked it up and put it in her purse. Joey saw the whole thing happen and he wasn’t going to stand for it. So he asked her to return the money, and she said NO! What kind of horrible person does that?

Joey said to her, “Ma’am, you can either return the $20 bill or you can leave the store, because I’m not going to serve someone as disrespectful as you.”

Good for you Joey Prusak! But it gets better. Joey took  $20 of his own money and gave it to the visually impaired customer. All the while, yet another customer watched the whole thing take place. He thought Joey deserved to be recognized for his good deed, so he sent this letter to the owner of the Dairy Queen. By the way, Joey didn’t bother to tell his boss about it because he didn’t think it was a big deal. Just a day in the life of a great guy from Minnesota.
