Kids are amazing and wonderful. I saw this first hand when I went back to second grade.

Over the weekend, my husband Glen was asked to read a book to a group of second graders at St. Charles Borromeo School in Minneapolis and I got to tag along.

Our friend, Anne is one of the teachers there and she asked Glen to read the book called My Mouth is a Volcano. I think some of the kids missed the point as it's a book about interrupting and some of them still did it, even after we finished the book.

The kids also read a book called Hooray for Bread and Mrs. Anne made it into a movie. The kids read the book and then drew pictures to go along with the story. It reminds me of The Peanuts Gang TV specials. Well done, kids!
