I love good television shows. I also love some really bad ones. Well, bad according to some people. And I always look forward to the new shows in the fall. Who will make it, who gets cut after just a few weeks. I'm always cautious going in.

My DVR will be set for several new shows this fall, but I won't watch them right away. I usually record a few episodes and then wait to see if they stick around before investing my time. If they get cut, chances are they get deleted without watching.

Here are a few that look interesting enough to at least record. Whether or not they make it--only time will tell!

"Forever" is about a NYC medical examiner who can't die. Well, he does die, but then he comes back. Naked every time.

"Madam Secretary" stars Tea Leoni. I like her. She plays a former CIA agent who shakes things up in Washington when she becomes Secretary of State.

"Utopia" is a new reality show. And I do love a good reality show. This one has 15 contestants thrown into the wilderness to build their own society with their own rules.

There are several more that look pretty good, but if I watch all of them, along with my favorite shows that are already on, I'll never get anything else done. And I can't miss Survivor, The Amazing Race, The Good Wife, Mom or Two Broke Girls. Oh, and The Middle, Modern Family and The Blacklist. Sheesh, I watch too much TV.
