Friday night was a great night for football and what made the night even better was the fact that students could participate in some activities that benefit a great cause.

The Albany Huskies took on the Foley Falcons at the Albany High School Football field on Friday evening.  Despite some cold, rainy weather several fans came out to cheer on their team.

Prior to the start of the game the Student Council brought in inflatables for the kids to jump around in.  They charged $1 and all the proceeds went to breast cancer research.  After the game they had a walk to benefit research as well.  I thought that was really cool for the kids to get involved in, but sadly cancer touches us all one way or another.

We set up our bean bag toss game and the kids enjoyed that as well.  See how much fun these kids were having!

A big thanks goes out to General Rental Center of Albany for sponsoring this event!
